Move .ost file to another partition

  • Close all outlook instances (check with taskmgr)
  • Move whole Outlook folder from user folder: drive:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook to i.e. D:\Outlook
  • Create symlink: mklink /J “drive:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook” “D:\Outlook”
